Young Tim Miller has always been fascinated by his father, Walter a sort of odd ball charcter and on a surprise outdoor camping trip with his dad the youngster is even more fascinated by a alien object tha falls from the sky and crashes in the hills nearby. Ehen they bring space thing home, dad soon discovers that exposure to it causes a cloak of invisibility to form around whoever touch it, Wishing to test out his new found invisibility dad goes to his job, unseen by his co-workers. There he overhears secret plans to rob the company by means of industrial spies,kidnaping and a daring armed attack on the building. He uses his new powers to overcome the villains and save the day, finally discovering at the oddest moments that his invisibility is only temporary.
